lips stained red from a bottle of wine

So, I'm probably not going to be very interesting on the Internet until, like, November. The beginning of the school year is so busy. I also have 16 solid hours of class coming up this weekend, which is of course the same weekend as a wedding and a concert and a friend's return to town. I... might not make it to next week. If I die, remember me as amazing at reading Where the Wild Things Are to children.

How 'bout delicious no longer functioning like a website people want to use? AWESOME.

Sooooo, I'm gonna just C&P this from Tumblr. UGH UGH TERRIBLE AWFUL EPISODE.

I just… don’t even know where to begin on Glee. I had to fast forward through the last Shelby-Quinn scene because it was so offensive. I have VERY PERSONAL FEELINGS on the subject of adoption and the ridiculous notion that an adopted child can never be happy without knowing his or her bio mom. HATE STORYLINE BEYOND BELIEF.

Will is the worst teacher in the world, but at least that’s old news and I don’t care about his character. QUINN WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO YOU.

The stupid writing choices on Glee shouldn’t bother me at this point, but Kurt would NEVER pick such a TERRIBLE audition song. He has the range for Tony! Did he show it in his audition? No! It’s not typecasting, it’s a shitty audition! Way to ruin a potentially great exploration of being typecast, Glee.

Oh, Glee, your transparent effort to use Darren Criss to keep people watching Glee after the seniors graduate is showing. It’s also not working on this gal.

WRITERS PLEASE PICK A CHARACTER FOR BRITTANY AND STICK TO IT.

WRITERS PLEASE STOP TRYING TO SELL FINN AS SOMEONE WITH A SHOT IN HELL AT MUSICAL THEATER. IT MAKES RACHEL LOOK RIDICULOUS.

Stuff I liked: Kurt’s line about asking Rachel for permission to do a Barbra song, Santana being all heart-eyed at Brittany, and Kurt and Rachel doing Shakespeare. I would watch the latter, I’m just sayin’!

Oh man, what a fucking waste of the episode. Granted, I was a glass and a half of wine into the last Quinn-Shelby scene, but it’s been a long time since TV has made me angry enough to want to CRY before. What they did to Rachel in 2.22 made me NAUSEOUS, but there were no waterworks.

This Mike Chang episode better be great.
