Observing happiness
I have decided that since i tend to be depressed all the time, i am going to combat that by observing other happy people and things that make me smile. Each and every day i am going to try and post an entry about something nice, happy, funny, sweet, anything postive, that i saw that day.
I actually have two for today. One is from the other day that i just remember, and the other happened today while i was in the EMU.
October 25th: As i was on the bus in the evening heading back home from school......a girl got on who was in a wheelchair. I think that she may have aslo been mentally disabled as well. I noticed over the course of the bus ride that she kept looking just to the right of me and then she would start smiling and giggiling and look down at the ground. I then noticed that the guy sitting next to me (on my right) was quite attractive. She obviously thought so too and she kept looking at him. Whenever he caught her looking at him he would smile in a very friendly and flirty way. This obviously made her day because each time she would get the biggest grin on her face, giggle, and get that shy-excited look that girls get when they get attention. For some reason i just thought this was really sweet and it made me really happy to see another young lady so happy! Kudo's to the attractive guy for making some sweet girls day!
October 26th: As i was walking through the EMU today, the fishbowl part where people eat and stuff, i noticed this table of asian girls that were making quite a racket. It was one of the girls birthday's and she was in the process of blowing out candles on a cake that i assume they had brought for her. As soon as she blew out the candles they all started cheering and laughing and freaking out. I just thought it was so cute cause i have never seen people get THAT excited about blowing out candles on a b-day cake. It had obviously been a big suprise for her and i just thought it was so sweet. Friends are priceless in the fact that get together and do stuff like that for each other. I love it!
