Why i am not looking forward to my twilight years.

So i just went to the mall to check on my application that i put in at American Eagle, after i finished up there i decided that i was hungry so i went to the subway there. I was standing in line behind these three elderly ladies who were in the process of ordering their food. I didn't think anything of it untill i looked at the guy who was waiting on them. He looked like he was about to cry.

After standing there for a little while it was easy to see why. These three little old ladies had obviously been in line for a while and the whole time it seemed, they were barking out orders at the poor guy, all at the same time. One lady kept changing her mind about what sandwhich she wanted, another one was telling him exactly what order to put the vegtables on in, and the third lady wanted her entire sandwhich heated up but not toasted after he had already put everything on it, plus she wanted him to put poppyseeds on it too....which i don't think subway has......the three of them kept going on like this the whole time i was ordering my sandwhich and they were still there when i was done. I felt so bad for the poor sandwhich guy, i mean he barely spoke english himself (I think he was indian and he had a really thick accent) and here he is getting ridiculose demands from three little old lady's all at the same time. I wouldn't be suprised if he just stopped and burst into tears when they finally left. They honestly sounded like a little pack of chickens. I couldn't belive they were being so demanding and rude. Little old ladies are the worst too....cause they look so cute and innocent at first....and then they open up their mouths and are just terrible.
The real kicker to the end of the story was that as i was leaving i heard one of them say to the other "do you have your credit card?" and she replied "no i thought June was paying." and then the 3rd woman, June i am assuming, says "I most certianly am not."

So i don't know if they ended up buying their sandwhiches or not.....but i have a sneaky little suspician that they put that poor poor guy through all that turmoil for nothing, and that they didn't even end up buying their very "personalized" sandwhiches.

Sigh. Old people can be so intersting.
