Never thought I'd see that...

So I went to UNCG's Greek Week lip sync competition last night... good times. I was reminded that I actually used to go to those as a child because my father, as a University employee and a Greek, would often judge them. Each of the teams are made up of organizations from each of our 3 councils (IFC, Panhellenic, and NPHC) so ideally, each team will include in their lipsync certain things from each organization.

So imagine my (and the rest of the crowd's) surprise when the historically white greek letter organizations that were paired with Omega Psi Phi started hopping to Atomic Dog!

Similar, but slightly less notable, my boys of Lambda Chi, paired with the Alphas, did a serpent freeze and hold (or whatever it's called. You know what I'm talking about)

In house news, we went and got it inspected today... some minor repairs we'll request of the seller, but nothing deal-breaking, so we're good.

I am a fan of Sam Adam's White Ale. Too bad it's a seasonal and only available January-March.

I'm listening online to the UMBC vs. Albany lacrosse game. With the defeats in the top 10 and us sitting at #11, there's no way we shouldn't be top 10 after this weekend, provided we win. it's interesting hearing definitely Maryland accents calling the play by plays. I don't think I could hear that when I lived up in the mid-Atlantic. For that matter, I was convinced there was no Delaware accent, but I can hear that now too. As for me, I end up with this hybrid, borderline Southern accent. I'm also watching UVA-Dook lacrosse (I know I've mentioned how much I enjoy being able to watch lax on TV)... another sporting event I can wish about is the USF spring football game, which is taking place today.

To bring it somewhat full circle (since I was talking about Omega Psi Phi earlier)--I tend to bark alot when watching/listening to/referring to UMBC.
