Hoops
As I watch (more listen to, because I don't have my contacts in) the Terps-Cavs women's hoops game that's on right now, I'm reminded how pleased and dare I say it, proud I am that my city (I suppose it'd be accurate to refer to Greensboro as my city at this point, though it still takes a back seat to Wilmington, Baltimore, and perhaps Tampa) is host to the greatest women's hoops tournament in the country.
I still haven't done my year in review, and it's February. Maybe I'll get it done shortly into the Chinese new year.
Another thought about watching basketball... I like basketball, but I LOVE football. I'll watch college hoops if there's a team I have some tangential connection to, but I'll watch football with no connection whatsoever. Maybei t's cuz I like football better, maybe it's because there are fewer teams (and even fewer that get televised), maybe it's because every single game means something, but dammit, I can watch football all day. For several days even.
