One Day at a Time
First of all thank you much to those of you who called, hit me up on myspace, facebook, etc. to wish me a happy birthday. I definitely came into my quarter-century well. But IT AIN'T OVA! For those of you in Delaware and driving distance, Megan and I will be having our birthday extravaganza on December 23rd, 6pmish until. Details will follow.
Secondly, obviously, as an Eagles fan, I hope against hope every year that we go to and win the Super Bowl. Obviously, that's pretty out of the picture. That said, there are just a few games that I think it's mandatory that we win, and so far we are in pretty good shape.
1.) Beat the Cowboys. Why? Because they're the fucking COWBOYS.
2.) Beat the Redskins. I've got no beef with the Skins, but I've got too many friends and relatives from the DC Metro urrea who would have too much lip for me if we didn't.
3.) Beat the Panthers. Again, no beef, but I live in NC now.
So far we're 4-0 against that competition, with the last game this season being Christmas Day against the Cowboys. All I want for Christmas is an Eagles win.
Now then. I've been saying for weeks now I was gonna post for y'all the update on the Thanksgiving travel. I've decided I'll take it one day at a time. Maybe then it'll actually get done before the new year.
