Indianapolis 500 parade on ESPN2 right now. YAY!!
For those who aren't aware, apparently the news as of last weekend's big AI Band reunion is that Mr. Parets is retiring, which I was expecting to be hte case. What's great that I didn't know is that apparently they are constructing a mural in Parets' honor that will be outside of Tiger Stadium. I love the fact that outside of our "football" stadium will not be a monument to a great coach, or a great player, but a great marching band director. Yeah, you know whose stadium it is.
Dudley High School (here in Greensboro)'s drumline was at last night's Greensboro Revolution game. Looks like they're looking in the right direction. :-)
I submitted a request to volunteer at Carolina Crown's NightBEAT this summer--they best holla back at me!
Anyway, I owe you folks a real update something horrible. Expect it later this weekend. Until, just keep doing what it do.
