Mulletastic

They were interviewing Billy Ray Cyrus on the radio this morning, and he actually seemed like a pretty cool guy. I came in as they were rattling off his credits, and I didn’t realize he’d been in so much, not only as a singer, but as an actor as well. I saw him in Mullholland Drive, but he’s been in more as well. And he doesn’t take himself as seriously as to deny he had a helluva mullet going on. In fact, he apparently has a song coming out in the summer called “I Want my Mullet Back”. And Achy Breaky Heart still holds the record for most time spent at the top of the pop charts, even having outlasted My Heart Will Go On by a week. He may very well be the Godfather of country as pop-this wasn’t even pop-country either, Achy Breaky was unapologetic country. So here’s to you, Billy Ray Cyrus, king of the Mullets!

In other news, I’m not in good shape at all right now. My allergies are not the best; someone was metaquoted as talking about all the trees jerking off in the air, and if you think about it, that’s really what pollen is. Damn you, horny trees!

I also have skin issues that have been bugging me… particularly part of my face is… “chapped” might be the best way to put it? It’s also kind peeling, like when white people get sunburn. It doesn’t look nearly as bad as I feel like it does or it feels, but it’s really bothering me, and no creams or lotions or anything else I find seem to be entirely adept as moisturizing my situation and preserving my sexy.
