Torchwood drabble: Huldufólk

Notes: In present-day Iceland, elf communicators are sometimes consulted before a building project is begun in order to avoid the pitfalls of disturbing an area inhabited by elves. Written for tw100's challenge #112 - Mythical Beasts: Miniature Edition.
The Rift activity in the cells seemed like a glitch until both Owen and Ianto admitted to hearing whispering. Having identified the whispering as Icelandic, Tosh offered an appropriate greeting to the general area. That was when the little old woman showed herself.
"We must leave or she'll sabotage our equipment," Tosh translated.
Pop-a shower of sparks came from overhead.
Ianto was Googling. "Sir, I believe it's an elf."
Jack smiled. "Tosh, tell her we can take her home."
"Transport an invisible elf?" Owen doubted.
Jack sighed. "By removing that section of the wall. Anybody fancy Iceland in November?"
