Funny how, throughout the universe, life in its variety still took similar forms. Gwen wouldn't have guessed, for instance, that somewhere else lived creatures that perfectly resembled Earth starfish-until one beached itself in the Hub's boardroom.
"It's gonna take five of us to move this thing," Jack announced, as four of them regarded the hulking shape. "Ianto?"
"Here, Sir," Ianto said, entering with five pairs of thick gloves.
They'd been running frantically all week, putting out Rift-kindled fires. It wasn't surprising that it took a massive alien sea-beast to get them all in the same room, but Gwen was grateful.
