From the top, now:
I. This is so very THEM--"Do not ignore me" indeed--and I especially love the transition from a very young Theta (who I imagine can't really grasp that people could have died except in an intellectual way) to the Doctor, who realizes all too well.
II. You're making me miss Donna and Ten so much here. Such a lovely moment with them, and the last two lines are at once perfect banter between them and gorgeously sad, in view of what we know happens.
III. LEELA OMG. This is so very, very her, and I love that she sees the things they miss, and refuses to let go of who she is even as she can appreciate her life there.
IV. As a first time for those two, I can so see that. And damn, that's a lot of hot in a few words.
V. I am in so much love with the way you write these two. And it's not entirely platonic love. *g*
A few years later, trapped in the crumbling bowels of the Hub, accompanied by a bottle of expensive whisky and a cloud of dust, Emily offered an explanation: "I didn't want you civilised."
The raw passion in her voice made Alice shiver.
Made me shiver too, in a very good way. And it's completely believable. I also adore The moment had been - almost been - dangerously intimate, and the way they pull back from it. And very much yes to the last line.
Seriously, these are all gorgeous and they feel exactly right. Thank you so much!

I think you're right - it's all academic to him, except for the thing *he* wants, the only thing he really sees.
sad, in view of what we know happens
Waah, yes! I made myself really sad with that one. Heh.
And Leela! I've never written her before, I don't think, but now I don't know why - she's so easy to visualize.
Okay, I'm embarrassingly pleased that you found the Alice/Emily drabble hot, because I so rarely even approach that. It's exciting that it worked. *g*
Thank you for bidding and for being a great inspiration!

I could picture her so well.
