The horrors of the Japanese language...

I've just started Japanese lessons a month ago. It sounded okay at first, if a little tough since I had to memorise so many forms of hiragana at once, but now? Double the difficulty! Guess why.
We've now entered the world of katakana when I've barely even mastered (forget mastered, let's use learned to recognise) hiragana. Sheesh.
On a different note, I'm glad holidays has started. Sad, though, that the teachers deem it necessary to kill us students with homework. I miss my free time!
Maybe I should consider using this LJ account more often. Hmm.
