Just for anybody who doesnt already know, what I ride is an '04 R6. Anyhow, yesterday I went to the MSF (motorcycle safety foundation) parking lot here on base. That's the place where you go to take the tests, and practace motorcycle control. Well, I was practacing starting line take-offs, and I got one really good, i wouldve had 1st place comming off the line. I kept twisting the throttle untill I felt the bike was at its best. That's when the front wheel came up. I got startled, so I tried to crawl under the paint (I tucked down as far as I could go.) I realized that the bike was almost standing up at 12 o'clock, so, I let off the throttle because I didnt like not being able to see where I was going. But then the front wheel was comming down faster than I wanted. So, I gave it a little more gas as it was comming down. I was still going damn fast when the front wheel just lightly kissed the ground again, and I shifted to 2nd.
Just sharring that with anybody who rides motorcycles. Im new at it. I really didnt even mean to do a wheelie, but it got my heart going. After that, I just went home, with a smile on my face.
My new favorite quote: Will wheelie for tata's. Mmmmm, tata's.
