(no subject)
I watched the entire season of Game of Thrones over the past couple of days on HBO-GO and OnDemand. You've gotta love those services. Anyway, while I wasn't expecting much from the series, I was surprised to find that I enjoyed it more than the most recent season of True Blood. You can count me in as a fan. Season 2 can't start soon enough.
I don't have much else to do with myself right now other than watch tv and hunt for jobs. My unemployment is on hiatus as a penalty for screwing up back when I worked those 2 weeks back in November. The penalty is no income for 7 weeks. I'm fortunate that I live with family, otherwise I would be truly screwed.
Speaking of family, I have to say that I learned to appreciate their presence in my life a bit more after a recent stay in the hospital. While there I met many people who would share about their problems in their lives and how they had no one to turn to. It was saddening to hear their stories. I really am fortunate that my family has always been there for me.
I've been thinking of doing a big post update on what's been happening these past many months since my last update but it's the same old struggles that I always write about continuing to haunt me so I figure, "what is the point?". I may still do it. We'll see. At the very least I'm updating again.
