Just Say Yes
So today I interviewed with the headhunter. Boy, oh boy, was I nervous, but I think I presented myself decently. I need to practice more. My biggest problem is describing my work for UNDP. My work was all over the map, so it's difficult for me to describe it fluently especially when asked to summarize it. With that, I think I'll have to revise my resume a bit, creating multiple versions with each version to focus on the different parts of my eccentric job history. It's a lot of work... I wish I had a better environment to work on it (rather than a coffee shop with uncomfortable seats on a small netbook keyboard), but I have to make due with what I have.
But man, I hope she gets me into an interview with the companies we've been discussing soon. I know I can shine during a final interview. Grrr... Then again, part of me wants to go back to UNDP where I won't have to interview. Sigh.
