I'm doing a research paper on the death penalty and I want to know everyone opinions about it.

Are you for or against the death penalty? Why, Why not?

I'm for it... mainly because someone that has killed someone and then sits in prison sucking on tax dollars is horrible. Texas is a great state for continuing it. But that's just me.

just fyi, it actually costs several times more just to hold an appeal to a death penalty sentence (which happens almost every time, probably) than to hold a person in a maximum security prison for 40 years
