Bank error in your favor

I've just discovered that three days ago, I was erroneously credited nearly $2,500 in my bank account. With the features my bank's online services afford me, I found that not only did some guy named Chris scribble in his account number on the deposit slip such that multiple digits are ambiguous in ways that coincide with my account number, but the ( Read more... )

The way the dollar has been, what you haven't gotten has probably become equivalent to $3000 by now! And don't get me started about foreign transaction fees!

Speaking of which, when I got you the Beck album for Christmas, I sillily thought that things would be cheaper and quicker if I used amazon.co.uk. I was wrong, and I ended up with a small fee on my credit card because I had used it to spend pounds instead of dollars. Long story short, I might get $25 some day because some lawyer sued some credit card companies for their exchange fees, and my company settled. (http://littlechild.livejournal.com/98071.html)
