Monday - lifting
Didn't keep track, but did all of the weight machines + core work. Felt good to get back to lifting, seems like it's been a while since I've made it down for that.
Tuesday - #10kTuesday
This almost didn't happen, but a hashtag is a strange yet powerful motivator. Streak of 11 weeks now! Didn't get to do it at lunch at work, but I hadn't planned on doing the Pint & Pie Pub Run either… ended up just heading out for a run in the neighborhood with D as soon as we got home after work/daycare. Was a tough run - I'm not adapted to the warmer temps yet, plus the hilly neighborhood and not having done any running other than 10k Tuesday in about a month, it's starting to wear me down. BUT, I got it done and that's that. I got the OK from the PT to continue running during treatment, so I'm happy about that.
Wednesday - bike
Rode at lunch with Scott, ended up with one of my fastest rides in a while! Did the Sherman College loop and averaged 15.7 mph moving speed. Hoorah!
Thursday - lift / row
I think I moved up in weight on a couple of the weight machines (whee!), did my PT exercises, and some core. I know I did 55lbs on the bench press. :D
Wanted a bit of cardio, too, so did 1800m on the rowing machine. I wish I had felt up to running today, but I'm still afraid to do more running until my knee improves a bit.
Friday - mountain bike
Scott and I took the day off from work to prep for D's birthday party, so we took advantage of the grandparents being in town and went for a mountain bike ride at DuPont. We rode several trails that were new to me as well as some others that I hadn't ridden but once or twice. Cleared lots of challenging parts, and only really got tripped up on one rocky steep climb where I went down pretty hard. Got several scrapes and bruises, but finished out the ride. Enjoyed the ~12.5 miles!
Saturday - nothing
Sunday - ride to Upstate Craft Beer Co
Nice spin down the Swamp Rabbit Trail to Upstate Craft Beer Co for lunch. Scott pulled D in the trailer for the almost-20-mile ride.
