quickie anyone?
Real quick recap. Um i buried 2 grandfathers within a week of each other. The first one was burying the ashes of my dad's dad who died over the winter. Then we all went back to the lake house in Maine and got drunk and went swiming/tubing. That was saturday. i left and drove home to be with my mom bc her dad was taking a turn for the worse. on sunday he died. so his funeral and everything was on friday. it was a crazy emotional week. i was actually pretty happy for my grandfather (on my mom's side) he had a stroke like 4 years ago and has been confined to a wheel chair at a nursing home ever since. he couldn't say anything distinguishable except "oh shit" it was cute. but he's in a better place now. even though i bet my grandmother didnt waste any time yelling at him again. which is cute. i'm glad they're back together in heaven now. anyways. so that's over with and things are getting back to normal.
a week from Friday i move into my first apartment ever up in Durham. i'm wicked happy. also a little scared. first time living completely on my own. no more dorms. plus i've gotta keep my grades up or my parents will bring me home and make me go to Worcester state. not something i'd be a fan of. i'm really looking forward to this year at school it's going to be interesting to say the least. i started moving some stuff into the aptartment already and am going to do a bit more this weekend and then on sunday i have Locobazooka if those tickets i won ever show up in the mail. i'll be pissed if they dont'.
and basically that's it. work, hanging out w/ bridget as much as possible before she leaves me for stupid california. now i have to go to bed so i'm not a zombie tomorrow at work.
Thursday= my day off. anyone up for the beach/ checking out my apartment?lol
