*Beast Boy was patrolling the city - well, okay, he was mostly goofing off and getting some exercise, but if he spotted anything going down he'd be right on it, and of course he was carrying his communicator. Right now he was walking through the park, and it was relatively quiet, without many people around at all.*

Oh, well, this may be a treat for Beast Boy. Because Terra is just getting off her shift at Cheshire Lane for the day. Which means she is wearing her work uniform: A skirt (that's not too short) and a top that looks straight out of the 60s -- and probably ridiculous. She's also wearing a lot of makeup on her arms, but it's not perfect; they still look noticeably off in places.

But hey, there was Beast Boy, and she put a smile on her face when she saw him. "Beast Boy!" She waved and picked up the pace to get to him.

*Is it ever :D Beast Boy perked right up, beaming happily and heading over to meet Terra half way.*

Terra! Hi! You look awesome!

"Hey! Hahah, really? This old thing?" She posed a little, but jokingly. "Mr. Richards practically gave me this thing. I needed to fit in on the job, and shorts and a t-shirt just weren't cutting it." And grinned. "So what're you up to?"

Yeah, really. Dude, it looks really good on you *:3* Oh you know, I 'm just doing the patrolling thing. Muggers beware and all that *he posed as well, grinning.*

"Well, you're the only one who thinks so. I'm not into the whole mod style, but Cheshire Lane was the only place that was hiring, and I like me my money," she said unabashedly. "Yeah, they'd better beware. Or you'll drop a train on 'em or something. And now that I'm around, it's BB and Terra, Terra and BB, crimefighters extraordinaire. Kickin' bad guy butt and taking names, and back home in time to watch The Simpsons." She reached out to put an arm around his shoulders while she was talking.

Dude, maybe it's just that you make it look good, then *smooooooth, oh yeah. He leaned into her shoulder and put his arm around her waist lightly.* Heheh, we're totally an unstoppable team. ... How long do we have before The Simpsons is on? *>_>*

"You sure do know how to charm a girl." She giggled and squeezed him a little. "We've still got a couple hours before then, if you want to head home and... spend a little time together alone."

*Aaaand blush in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - blush initiated! Just a faint one, at least.* That sounds like a really good idea.

"I'm full of them." She wasn't blushing, or at least was hiding it really well. "So do you want to get going, or do you have other plans hanging out here?"

Heh, yeah, I noticed *he grinned.* Dude, I have absolutely no plans that can't be dropped in favour of quality Terra-time. I wasn't even really planning on hanging out her but then I met your brother and we had a chat and he seems nice *:D;;*

"Oh... you met Brion?" Well, her mood's not entirely shot, but quality BB-time might be impeded while Brion's in her head. "He is pretty nice. What did you guys talk about?"

Uh, well, not much really. Just kinda superhero ish stuff, and then he did the whole "treat my sister right" big brother thing, you know. We didn't really talk for long. *Hey, at least they have the time it takes to get back to the Tower for her to regain her mood, right?*

"That sounds like him, all right. I'm glad you met him, at least. I didn't think he was still in town, but... yeah. Heh. That's my brother. And I think the less we talk about him, the better for us." Perhaps. If she weren't passed out for most of it. Because she was going to try a little trick she's been teaching herself. She reached out with her free hand and concentrated hard on a patch of earth in front of them. Nothing happened for a moment, and then... the earth seemed to billow up in front of them a little bit. Coming out of that billow was the familiar rock platform that was Terra's standard mode of transportation, but it had left no hole in the ground or anything; she'd melded it out of the ground almost, apparently, perfectly.

But something may have seemed off about her afterwards. Maybe the breathy quality of her voice afterwards; maybe that her body felt a little bit more limp. But probably nothing to be worried about. Really. "So... get on, why don't you?" she asked, grinning fakely.

*Beast Boy made a face like this: OoO Because that is certainly an impressive new use of her powers! However this expression fairly quickly turned to OnO because he had noticed it's effects on her. He still started clambering up onto the rock platform but he also shot her a worried glance over his shoulder.*

That's... whoa, that's really cool, Terra. But um, are you sure you're okay?

She laughed a little. "Yeah... yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me. Really." And with that, she joined him on the rock and took off, making her way to the Tower.
