[Room Untidying. Locked to Terra]

Apr 30, 2006 23:00

*Beastboy was sat forlornly in the middle of his floor, staring around at his room. It was spotlessly clean. The floor had been cleared, vacuumed and possibly even scrubbed. The walls and even the ceiling had been scrubbed clean, the closet was no longer barricaded but instead was half open, showing his clothes, all of which had been freshly ( Read more... )

Since she was being expected -- or at least she hoped so -- she knocked quickly and said quietly through the door, but still loudly enough to be heard, "It's me, Beast Boy. Can I come in?"

*He stood up quickly, then winced at the sharp peak in his headache the sudden movement caused. He still had the blankets wrapped round him like a cloak, but the pillow fell to the floor with a soft thud. He went and opened the door to let Terra in.*

Um, hi Terra, come right in. Don't say I didn't warn you about the tidiness though, heh.

"Thanks," she said, shutting the door behind her to keep the light from the hallway out of the room. Turning around, she took a good look at the room and... well, was surprised that she could take a good look. "Wow... you can see the floor. He really is evil." She grinned and chuckled. "So where do we start?"

*He looks a bit indignant for all of 0.5 seconds, and then cracks up* Heheh, good one. Okay, so I have no idea, I think he threw away most of the base layer. Maybe tipping out those boxes so I can sort them into piles? *He pointed to the corner.*

"All right, sounds like a good place to start." She walked over to the corner and opened up one of the boxes, then dumped it out on the floor. While she was working, she asked, "So what's been up with you, aside from the evilness thing?"

*Beastboy flopped onto the floor and started sorting through the contents of the box, assigning the contents to seemingly random piles.*

Oh, you know, scheming things with Robin and Cy - but I can't tell you about that, or I'll have to kill you. Or Robin would kill me, or something, heh.

*He looked thoughtful for a moment, then spoke hurriedly.*

There was one thing I was kinda planning, a like team work thing since everyone's been talking about how they don't see each other so much, but dude, I think it might be a bit too geeky for everyone, eheh.

"Oh?" She leaned against one of the other boxes and watched Beast Boy rummage -- sorry, organize -- while she spoke, pointedly ignoring the remark about him, Robin, and Cyborg. "Whaddaya have planned? If it helps bring the team together, I'm all for it."

We-ell... *he shuffled a stack of comics, interlaced them with some videotapes, and balanced the whole on a pile of CDs with barely a wobble* I was thinking of running a game of Dungeons and Dragons. Dude, I know it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea, but some of the guys'll want to try it, right? *He grinned sheepishly.*

"Dungeons and Dragons?" She gave him her best "srsly?" face. "Iunno. I was never really into the whole roleplaying thing. I don't think I'd ever get the hang of it." Shaking her head, she continued, but moved behind the box she was leaning on in preparation to dump it. "I could watch, I guess."

Yeah, see? I told you it'd be too geeky. Not that that's gonna stop me! *He grinned and shuffled to the side a bit as he finished sorting that pile, moving so he wouldn't get buried by the contents of the next box.* It'd be cool if people just want to watch, too.

"I didn't say it'd be too geeky," she said with a laugh as she overturned the next box, then knelt down in front of Beast Boy as if to offer her help, even though she knew there was no way she could figure out his organization system. "Just too geeky for me. But hey, if you guys wanna sit around attacking the darkness with magic missile, I'll definitely watch."

Heh, cool, I'm definitely gonna do it then. Now I just gotta hope I don't suck as a GM. And that like, more than two people want to play. *He started throwing the contents of this box into random parts of the room, where they landed in familiar looking piles. He piled a bunch of magazines and books together, but rather than a straight stack they formed a lopsided pyramid, which he pushed up against the foot of his bed.* Um, let's see... Next I think I need to take my clothes off the hangers and put them back in their piles...

"Starting to look like home already," she joked, remembering the night she'd spent in his bed. Walking over to the open closet, she looked at the contents inquisitively. "You sure you're cool with me going through your clothes?"

Yeah, dude, it's looking a lot better already. Um, why wouldn't I be, they're all uniforms anyway. All my other stuff is in the chest of drawers. *He colours a bit at this thought, and scrambles to his feet quickly* So um, if you throw all the uniforms out of the closet onto the floor, I can sort my drawers out *he nods firmly, and scurries over to his chest of drawers to start sorting, neatly stepping through the piles on the floor they'd so far amassed without disturbing a thing.*

"All right, I'll get started." Hand-a goes in, spandex-a comes out; that's what Osaka Seafood Concern messing up BB's room is all about. It progressed smoothly for a while on Terra's part until she got to a smaller uniform with... a grey thing with eyeholes and ears on it. "Uhm, Beast Boy?" She held it up in his direction. "Is this what I think it is?"

*He turns around curiously to ask what she's found, and stops, blinking, mouth hanging wide open. Eventually he regains the ability to speak in coherent sentence, blushing faintly* Errr, um, that - that's my old uniform and, uh, my - my mask. Dude, I guess it's pretty dorky looking, huh?
