people and their posting...a metaphor for...

It's interesting, I think. Some people go through spurts of posting, but others are just...dedicated (eh hem...obsessed). Take Yoric, for instance...Yoric posts like every day...at LEAST once. That takes dedication man. I can't do it...I usually only hop on when I'm bored at work. And I rarely post anything of substance. Then there's Andrew. He was posting almost every day...then the move and other stuff happened, and now he hasn't posted in about 3 weeks. Jessibell...about a month or two. Dancermom...um...well, Dancermom is just preoccupied. Yet we all seem to be ok with our post quantities. My point is, people have so many different levels of acceptance for so many different things. How did we all come to be ok with a given situation? Why does dirty laundry on a clean bed bother one person and not another? Why do some people choose polygamy (or whichever term you feel comfortable using), and others don't? Why do some people feed off the adrenaline of battle, while others are content to back away? Why does wearing two different socks drive one crazy and not the other? I could go on forever. I have to know, are these comfort levels inate? Engrained in our being from before birth? From before life? Before existence or non-existence? What's your opinion? Can one butterfly fart really change the universe?
