Aww, I love this song... and this fic!

Chris, on the other hand, had a letter from William Shatner, which more or less wished him good luck. No words of wisdom, no parting advice. Not even a real blessing. He had yet to even meet the man who created this icon.

Hadn't really thought about it like this, but yeah, it could've been tough for Chris to see how great Zach's relationship with Leonard was when he didn't have any contact with The Shat. But Zach is there for him! Yay!

I hope it wasn't too outside the realm of possibility. Sometimes I think my headcanon!Chris is just full of angst and too emotionally beat up. I don't know why it's taken me so long to realize that making Chris vulnerable is such a delicious kink of mine...

I would so love for that little pep talk from Leonard to be true. I also do wonder if it affected Chris' confidence that The Shat had no time for him (and still doesn't by all accounts, the "Captains" docu aside - if it's even been done with Chris), especially compared with what's gone on with Zach and Leonard. Considering Chris seems to have a lot of hang ups as it is, I wouldn't be surprised if this has affected him lots.

Still, SuperZach to the rescue! I love the idea of him making it all better and you conveyed this really well.

See, I just can't get a grasp of what Chris is really like! He's a man of mystery to me. I feel like he could shake something like that off, or he could be really affected by it. Like when he said he got boo-ed at Comic Cons, I don't know, he tried to play it off like it didn't hurt him but I think it really did.

But yes, I was really happy to hear that the Shat was interviewing him for the Captains documentary cause at least they'd get to spend some time together.

LOL, I went back and watched the horse charity video and I love how excited Zach is for Chris to meet the Shat! *squee*
