So, my sister and I just watched Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet, y'know, with Leonardo DiCaprio in it and all that. And yeah, he's really pretty silly, but my sister and I were have a conversation about scariness among the Montagues and Capulets. ( Read no further if you have little familiarity with the play, and if you do, read to laugh. )

i had a dream last night that you told me to come to new jersey because you were making fresh fish sandwiches for dinner. i said that i was making something better, so you came to toronto instead.

Oddly, I also had a dream about you last night. Except it also included a bunch of other King'sians and Trinitarians (my high school) who would probably get along really well together. And we were all together at some college-ish setting, eating dinner, I think. Oh, and I managed to eat a fish sandwich today, but it wasn't fresh fish. Still, I like whitefish salad on my mom's bread. And I probably would come to toronto if I had the means.

I hated the new version of Pride and Prejudice. It was just another period romance film, dropping all of the wittiness that made the book and mini-series so good. None of the cast seemed to fit their rolls all that well. It was well done, but I hated it.

yeah, it was pretty... enh, but I found that it stressed certain other things that are easy to miss, like how much mrs bennett really loves her daughters. even if she is a scatterbrain. And at least Jane was actually pretty, even if she wasn't prettier than elizabeth like she's really supposed to be..
