Finishing up what I started yesterday
I am ridiculously happy right now. I found out that I have schooled my first semester of FYP. I got a B+ overall grade, an A- on the midterm, two A-'s on the oral exam, and best of all, an A- on the proposition paper! I can't believe it, I thought it was a terrible paper... Still, no complaints. And combine that with a 96 on the Latin final, and a 95 overall grade there... I'm just as pleased as pleased can be. And I've been reading Robin Hobb's Assassin series, which is pretty good. I finished the second book in the series a couple of days ago, and it was good, but everything goes wrong and you hope against all hope that things will improve, but they never do. New Year's happened, and was fun, though come midnight I was helping a friend fix light fixtures. I never got in touch with one of my friends, and I'm kinda bummed about it, but there's not much I can do at this point. I did see another friend before I left.. I saw National Treasure with her and my sister, and we spent the entire time making fun of the movie and how the girl would fall for a guy with no personality. I came back to school on Monday, and I must say, I remain firm in my decision never to fly American Airlines ever again. ...Sodexho remains nasty, and I remain embarrassed to do certain things that I have resolved to do.
