the week leading up to KAMP DINNER '04-'05
first of all im writing in this because i'm wide awake despite
the fact that i went to bed at the wee hours of the morning
and woke up at like 8...i'm sick of going to bed late and waking up
early..even on the damn weekends!..oh well...so i decided to
upate so it wont be as LONG..even though
this might be ..haha
past sunday i went to the beach for that damn oceans field trip
took forever..no fun..hated it..i think i'm gonna end up not doing
well in that class....and the sad thing that i've realized is that my classes
this qrtr arent really all that bad..i'm making them more difficult
because i procrastinate and do a half ass job in them..which sucks..
cause i really need to get my grades higher and just focus on what's important..
drawing class critique this week was OKAY to say the least..
.but now i have to get going on drawings for my final project and showcase...
and i have no idea waht to do...fuck....this class is also a pain in the ass. my
drawing teacher makes me want to scream sometimes..
my last class visual arts and culture is my favorite but thats really an
understatement..the teacher sucks at lecturing...my TA is so much better.
for the first time ever i actually enjoy going to section...i like hearing what
other students have to say about art in general and its during the evening
so it sometimes feels kinda cozy and warm..its sad though cause i really dont talk
in that class..but my TA is such a sweetheart..it was kinda weird on
thursday when she came up to me and and told me that she noticed how
i had my hair down during lecture earlier that week and she said she liked
it down and never saw it like that cause i always have it up....i told her just for her
i would have it down and straigthened next week..brownie points baby..i need them
on tuesday after that section my ate julie (ate means "older sis" and kuya means "older bro in tagalog)
picked me up and we went to capitola mall
to go look for playboy mechandise to wear
for KAMP dinner cause our family happens to be bunnies...
we found pink and black sweat wrist bands.
after we stop at her apartment so she can record one tree hill and gilmore girls...
i get back to my place to draw
stayed up till 4 then slept and woke up again at 7..not fun at all...
wednesday was another unproductive day...see, there i go again getting distracted...
at night janica and i went to this
card making workshop..at first i was apprehensive cause even though
i plan to be an art major..im not that creative
but the lady was so nice and helpful and our goup got the best card and
well, not to brag or anything but alot people
liked the card i made..and i am too shit!... debating whether to keep it or
give it to a friend whose birthday is today
on thursday i went downtown for a little shopping..bought shoes for the dinner...
friday was a busy day...but thankfully
i got some sleep...my kapatids ("lil sis" and "lil bro" in tagalog) came by my apartment
to make some dessert for the dinner..
luisa rob and josh came...and taylor came by to help make brownies...
the kapatids made cinammon crumb cake...after that
they left to get ready...i re-straightened my hair again...ate ..
taylor watched mean girls in my room while i ironed..
finally i went over to viv alma and vanessa's place to get my ends curled...
a lot fun and the end product..well i really
liked the way they did my hair...of course their the ones who do it at every big event i go to since last year...
miles and i rush to get to our kaps place but she aint even ready
but it gave us a time to bond even more...finally
we go to the dinner fashionably late..but i must say we all look pretty damn good...
once i get the pics developed
i'll post pics up..or at least try to...since julie happens to be one of the coordinators
she tried her best to be with
the family...and she looked really sexy cause she was wearing a backless top
and she dyed her hair again..i always liked it
darker...im very proud of her and what shes going through..
so much on her plate but still takes the time to be with
her family...the food was good..gosh i miss filipino food..
the program was really lovely as well...their was one guy who
sang and happens to be really famous in the bay area..well..
he was reallly good!...voice was so beautiful...then dancing
i actually danced this year unlike last year when i just left...it was all right...
there was one point where i decided to just get
on a table and start danciing...and i did and first the people around me
were looking and then out of nowhere i started slipping
my dress up and well...that got the entire room lookin at me and takinng pics...
i even got someone to give me a dollar
but unforutantely the lady in charge of the sound and
the facility yelled at me to get off the table..haha...hey every girl has
their inner slut inside them....let her free!! i was just trying to liven up the dance...
finally go home...and get some sleep

we want to finish before break...plan to work on it till 9ish..
then may be go to a birthday party?...we'll see...got a lot of hw to do before
i leave for HOME tuesday evening...
i seriously dont even want to think about it and
even worse the shit i gotta take care of after break...fucking finals...
till then i guess..
