Day Two: Nine things about yourself.

1. I have VERY low self esteem.  I wish I didn't.  I've tried to change that, but I honestly don't like a single thing about myself, especially physically.
2. I'm a lot more compassionate than people realize.  Two weeks ago, I saw an elderly lady standing on the side of the road, having a hard time stepping up onto the curb.  I drove past her, but my heart wouldn't let me go on!  I had to turn around and drive back to help her.  I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I wouldn't have helped her.
3. I love to cook. 
4. I love my kids more than I ever could have imagined loving anyone.  I'm having a very hard time letting them grow up, though!  I miss the days when all they wanted was me.  Now they're starting to separate themselves from me and it's tearing me apart.  They're all I have, and when they're gone, I'll be all alone.
5. I am way too nice to people.  I have a hard time saying no, even when I want to.
6. I love my new job, but I feel like  a bit of an outcast.  I lack the social skills I need to interact with everyone.  I feel weird.
7. I lived in Memphis, TN for a year and it felt more like home than my hometown ever has.  I don't want to raise my kids there, though.  The crime rate has gone up a lot since I lived there.
8. I have a bit of an obsession with chickpeas.
9. I wish I was friendlier...more outgoing.  I hate being socially awkward, but it's who I am.
