Nothing against the people there, and it's doubtless partially a language issue, but I simply cannot stand dealing with Mexico. It's to the point where I sometimes advise clients not to file in Mexico because the administrative costs of dealing with weird, confusing communications from the Patent Office and/or agents might end up outweighing any benefit provided by securing patent protection there, much less asserting it.
