Yes on the digital thermometer. But I figure the smaller one will work for casual use for myself and still have plenty of space to grill for several people.

Speaking of big blue BBQ, Traeger offers models that look like a giant pig and a longhorn ... a friend of mine is a metal sculptor, and I want to see if there's anything he can do to make mine look like a blue dog.
