finally something has happended that deserves an update.
after being a loyal patron of showdown pretty much since i turned 21, i have finally won the raffle. that's right, 50 bucks, just for going to a bar. i have seriously attended so many monday and thursday nights that it is ridiculous. tonight, when they announced the winning ticket, i was WAY off. my roommate was 2 off, boyfriend 1 off. i just thought they had used a different spool of tickets for me. a little while after the drawing one of the bartenders came up to me because he remembered who i was and told me i had won. turns out i had three tickets in my pocket, two were old and i had pulled out one of those. i felt like such an idiot, but i was so happy the guy took the time to come and find me. my life is now complete
