Quick question...I've been debating whether or not I should invest in a digital camera but I'm not sure I should spend the money just yet. It would easily fit in my budget to buy one in the next month or so...but at the same time I keep thinking that it's money that could go to paying off old debt and I don't buy one. I know most of you on my friends list are avid photographers so you can help me see the benefits/joys of having a camera that you use on a regular basis. I've been looking for a hobby and I think taking pictures is something that I could really enjoy, even if I'm not necesarrily good at it. (Although I know practice makes perfect!) I'm always looking at stuff, especially things I see while in the car, thinking "that would make an awesome photo." Also, I'm in serious need of a hobby and something to do with my spare time. Now that I don't have homework and studying to do, I find myself getting bored and not nowing how to spend my time. I think if I had a camera I would get out of the house more and venture out in search of something to shoot. But at the same time...I'm afraid I'll be gung ho at first, then lose interest.
Basically...I want some input from others before I make the investment in a good camera.
Let me know what you think!
