War of the Worlds
Just a note...if you were planning on going to see War of the Worlds...DON'T!!! I was totally disappointed...nothing original about it, same aliens taking over the earth destroying all human life in it's path type of movie. Not even anything new in the line of visual effects. Lets face it, how quality can it be when it's about aliens...but seriously, stay home and watch Independence Day for free on TBS or SciFi and just picture Tom Cruise instead of Will Smith! I do have to give mad props to little Dakota Fanning though...she's got talent for sure!
I do recommend Batman Begins though! I'm not a huge Batman fan, but the new one is running a close second to the first Batman movie...maybe even winning since I haven't seen the original in ages! I didn't think I would like Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, but I was wrong, he pulled it off. I'm not sure how much I bought Katie Holmes as the stand up for her convictions attorney she played, but she held her own.
Anyway...enough rambling from me for now...good night all!
