The Real LJ Idol, Home Game, week five, "Inconceivable"
They said I was a smart child, but some things did seem inconceivable to me. I wrote this short example for

This is my Home Game entry.
It couldn't be possible; they said she had never been up close to a firetruck before, until today. I wondered how that could be true. In my young mind everyone had at least seen the inside of a firetruck.
They said she was from a big city. That didn't make any difference to what I was thinking.
They took her on a tour of the fire department and the trucks. Then they took her for a ride in one of the trucks. I continued to think this over in my mind.

Now I know that living in this little town and being the Deputy Cheef's dauter is a privelage. I have one sister who is thinking about going to colege to be a fire investagator for the state. Who knows if she will go through with her plans; she's only in high school, and I know how it feels to be searching for the right career at that age.
