we may have been wrong...
you guys, i have some tragic news. when we decided that god hates anime kids, we mightve been wrong. i now think that god may hate kids who hate anime kids. i know, i know, its hard to swallow. allow me to show you my supporting evidence:
exhibit a: at approximately 5 pm today, a thin, pale girl wandered into the store, hopelessly shattering our chance at making it through an entire day without a single customer (so close, yet so far). she was wearing board shorts and an oversized tshirt with a picture of a cat on it (her sense of style was not unlike that of grandma anime's). her hair was long and stringy (i learned later that she's growing it out for a sailor moon convention in november). she was listening to her ipod, and was badly in need of a shower and an excessive amount of deoderant.
exhibit b: after wandering aimlessly for twenty minutes, she sauntered over to the wig section, and closely examined a few bobs. when i asked her if she needed any help, she said, "yes, im dressing up for an anime convention this weekend (orlando), and i need a wig." when i inquired as to the type of wig she was looking for, she told me "short and black"
exhibit c: when i asked for more information, she pulled out a SKETCHBOOK and showed me a drawing: "this is my RPG character that i created, i need a wig that looks like this." (i would now also like to take the time to mention that her RPG character that she created... HAS A TAIL)
exhibit d: after pulling out wig upon wig upon wig, and exhausting my coworkers as well, we informed the girl that there was nothing that we could do for her, that we didnt have the type of wig that she wanted, and unless she wanted to buy one and cut it herself (she didnt), she was shit out of luck. she responded by saying nothing and staring at the wall for 5 minutes.
exhibit e: when i came over to her again a little while later (she was still staring and not speaking) to inform her that we were getting ready to close, she responded with "well, i guess i'll just have to get the shina doll wig then." the china doll wig was the first wig i showed her, about an hour earlier.
i have nothing more to say. i must leave you now as i retire to my room to rethink every conclusion that i have ever reached about life. if god really does hate kids who hate anime kids, then everything i know is wrong...
