Feeling a little better, for some reason--maybe it's the cold. In any case, Gaheris is outside, dressed significantly not warmly enough (no surprise there), and being thoroughly useless, by which we mean heading tentatively towards the Percy Household in an attempt to find Cimorene.

He is very easy to accost.

So he slips inside and stands just within the door, looking a little guilty, but also a little smiling.

So he enters and sits, tucking his hands between his knees. "I'm all right. You-- You are too?"

"Well enough." She is pinching the crust around the edge of the pan. "Been a little tight this winter, but we should be alright."

He nods. "Aye, she minds me."

"Well, someone'd have to," she says with a small smile.

Gaheris smiles at her, a touch wistfully. "Be glad it isn't you."

"Oh, faugh," is all the answer this deserves or gets. "You're staying for supper, of course."

"Of course," wryly. The smile crinkles.
