Sony is replacing my PS2 for $45 with a refurbished one.
Not too bad I guess.

What happened to your original PS2?

(p.s. I had a refurbished PS1 forever ago that worked great)

it decided that it didn't like to read discs any more. it was just old and crappy.

yeah mine is starting to not read dvds and certain games, had it for like 8 years now

Yeah, sounds a lot like mine. Except mine didn't wait nearly that long to start messing up!

I called them and told them what was up. I guess they don't hate me that much after all. It might help that I have called about this unit before.
