(no subject)
My day started off as a disaster!
I woke up late....I needed to wake up early so I could study for my test.....I missed the class that discussed everything...so I felt behind.So I rushed Anna off to school. Got home and got to studying. But by 1130 I had to get ready to go to my blood work stuff. I got there early....but the damn lady took forever. I swear she wrote a letter per minute! But being only a student I have not learned everything she has....but my goodness! She did everything wrong with my blood work. Lets just say I have a huge scratch from the needle....and a bruise. The TB test she kept pullling in and out in and out in before she did it right....there is also a huge bruise. Not to mention it took 45 freaking minutes to get these two simple tests done.
So I go to class and show everyone.....and thank them for doing such a wonderful job....And that I would let them take my blood anytime! I mean these tests hurt soooooo much, and yet those that are just learning how to do it didnt hurt me one bit!I also shared this info with my teacher.....she was so glad that I shared it with everyone in the class....and was really pissed in how my arm looked. She left and I guess called the health office. But the test was actually easy...I couldnt believe that. But what came next took my bad moring away. We got our clinical stuff. I got my nametag.....I got my clinical location....I AM GOING TO WHERE I WANTED TOO. Not only did I get it....but it turns out that I was asked by that clinical site to come there. It was a first for the school....and so I got it. Others were pissed but what can i do....So everything is working out. And I am so happy.
The rest of the day went by so quickly! Work was great....got annas school pics. And will be posting them soon.
Also....onto the other good news!
-I just got a personal letter from my third grade teacher...he is finally retiring. he asked if I could speak in front of his retirement party. I felt so honored! I am gonna work on that speach asap.
-My friend Gabbi just got engaged! She is getting married in the summer of 2006....she also called and asked anna to be the flower girl and for me to be a brides maid! I feel so honored! Now I just gotta get the boy to come to the wedding with me
