I NEVER get tired of gushing praise... so thank you so much! I was worried about this one, since it got very little commentage.
I'm glad you see the fic that way. The only other tele-pair that made me feel that gut-wrenching goodness (I think you speak of it well when you say it made your heart hurt with longing) was the x-files. And it sort of makes sense, given that their canon is kind of similar to J and D's, in that way you talk about, with flaws and contradictions and angst and everything. Because in real life the two people who are great together aren't necessarily together, and I think that's what makes them so great to watch (and read, and write!) I don't know if that made sense, but it makes me happy that you touch on something that I try so hard to emulate.
As for what's next, I'm not sure. I'm sort of limited in that I still need to buy the WW eps so I can watch them again (and again and again), so I only really feel comfortable writing about things that are seared permanently in my brain (Transition and ED1/2 being that way, of course). I sort of have this idea for Inauguration: OT, so we'll see what comes of that!
You know, I think people don't comment as much as they used to because it's been over a year since the show finished. Maybe less people read the fanfic, but certainly less people comment because of this, even if they do read it. Nothing wrong with the stories that are written, though!

I mean, you're talking to the girl who decided to take her Scully action figure for a drive last night... Ooh, you're definitely right: even if we can see how fantastic they are together, doesn't mean they're going to be that way really. But they are. And what I love about J/D and M/S is that they always knew in their hearts that that was the way it was meant to be, and they acknowledged it so subtley but theye ventually got there.
Hee, what a hard task - having to buy all of TWW! Oh yeah, like all the rest of the world, I love Inauguration: OT so I'd very much look forward to what you'd write.
I'm going to the US (I live in Australia)! Never been before, and I CAN'T WAIT. Will of course be going to Washington, DC so I can scamper around saying, "This is where Josh and Donna were!!!" in an obnoxiously fangirlish kind of way.
Haha, of course Mulder and Scully. I prefer to pretend in my fangirlish heart that Season 9 never happened (Doggett? Reyes? Wha?) and that the series ended with the last ep of Season 8 (sigh). But anyhoo.
Have fun in the States! DC is wonderful, I've only been twice but it's one of the places I'd like to live sometime. Although sometimes when I get over-zealous with my desires to go plant myself in DC and work on the Hill, I must whack myself in the head until I realize that no, working in DC does NOT mean getting to hang with Josh and Donna and Sam and everyone else all day! Oh well.
