And I'm not in Chicago--because I tried to do too much at once and officially tired myself out. My mom couldn't even tell me whether I was going for sure or not until Thursday, which would have left me only Friday to get a map, along with directions to my sister's and clean the car and pack. And I was already exhausted. So I just said forget it.
In the meantime I've continued writing, re-arranged my room, found a whole bunch of clothes in the garage from two years ago that were supposed to go to Goodwill but never did, so I retrieved them and found that they now fit. Most are out of style though and will be tossed.I did get back a nice pair of olive cordoroys, a bra, a blazer, a hoodie and a blouse.
I am taking my previous two paychecks to H&M and will not be waylaid.
I have to do the FAFSA. Do NOT let me forget to file the FAFSA.
