an entry, whaaat?
i cant believe it's already time for New Years!
sorry for not posting, i suck- but this is a wrap up to quite an interesting year. Schools been icky, too much work, but thankfully the semesters almost over. This college thing is starting to make my head spin, what do i want to do for the rest of my life? i completely have no idea! Theatre education? Stage managing? maybe not even theatre, but it's all i've basically known. Do I need to explore more? Swim season is in its last stretch, 2 or 3 more meets? Being a captain this year was actually fun, i love this team. 'La cage' ended with a bang, 'little shop...' was great. Filling in for Heidi at 'peter pan' was awesome. Now it's on to stage managing 'Godspell' this stuff gets stressful. NHTG festival should be starting up soon. why do us theatre kids feel the need to be so busy? This fall for Peer Leadership we went around the school on world AIDS day to collect money, in one period we collected a little under 400 dollars. I think it's exciting that we're actually doing something this year. NHS inductions were also this fall, but it was a little cultish and creepy. Congrats to Kar for the nomination. My friends have ment everything to me this semester. So sad Annaleigh left me :( but it'll be summer soon enough. I miss Liz like whoa, and I'm so excited that Joe is doing 'Smokey Joes' I feel like it'll be a good time to get to know him better. I'm in love with Kari Buckley, ps everyone go see her as Wendy, because she's adorable. Cameron is also quite a convincing indian :) and even through all this choas i've managed to find someone whos actually a decent person and is interested in me for who I am. I think I'm a little scared of commiting to anything at this point, but somehow I feel safe with this choice. It's amazing to always notice myself smiling, i'm always in such a better mood. Not such a bad recap of the beginning of my year. sorry I'm not so good at updating, but i'll try to more i promise! Happy New Year everyone!
