Training, huh?

Training begins today, it seems. I've received a message to meet the rest of the Physical Offensive division on the Commons. I'm not particularly thrilled about joining a fighting force comprised of people I don't know. I've only ever really fought with people I know or have some reason to trust. This--I'll admit--is a little unnerving. Still--at least I won't be bored anymore. Training with Duo has been just about the only thing taking up my time and, really, that hasn't been a lot of time.

I'll be going as Robin, of course. He's got all the cool toys. And the Kevlar. I don't really know what we'll be doing, so I'm not trusting anything to chance. I have to admit, I'm not as nervous about this as some of the others seem to be. I guess after being trained by Batman, Nightwing, and Lady Shiva, these guys don't scare me that much. We'll have to see.

Still not wild about being drafted, and still trying to find a way to figure out these damned cuffs. I've been tranqued by them once--I didn't like it. In addition to being out for a few hours, I also got that muzzy "have the flu and need more sleep" feeling for several hours afterward. I hate feeling like that.

Anyhow--still not wild about this, but I guess Ill comply (as if I have a choice). It's not really that much different from working with the Justice League or Teen Titans, right? Starro, White Martians, Entropi... I guess it's all the same. Guess we'll see how training goes.

In other news, the temperature has regulated itself here again. More's the pity. I liked it better when it was warmer. At least the birdsong stopped. Turns out it wasn't just me hearing it.
