X-Men Drabble: Silence

Authors Note: This is my first X-Men drabble. I was told it was worth posting. XD This was inspired by a rp I am currently wriitng with just_heidi . There isn't much you need to know about, only that woman mentioned Elaine is Erik's wife. Have fun!
Charles can’t sleep. He hasn’t slept well since the night Elaine has set foot in this house. Well that’s not exactly true, but now it’s not only the nightmares that keep waking him up, but also the thoughts that seem to be vibrating constantly through these walls.
Bastard. Whore.
He winces and attempts to curl up more against the warm body next to his. Usually Erik’s warm arm around his waist would bring him instant comfort, now it’s not enough and he wishes they would be alone again. He wishes Elaine would be gone and they would have the house to themselves again. For Erik to finally smile again and push him against the wall and fuck him like he had the other day.
Boy, nothing more than a boy toy.
Charles whimpers and he presses his eyes tightly close. He can’t stand to listen to anymore of this. “Please stop… please just stop,” he mumbles under his breath, a constant mantra, which at the end seems to wake Erik who rubs his hand soothingly along Charles’s hip. “Shhh… go back to sleep Charles...” Erik’s soothing voice whispered, followed by a kiss against Charles’s neck.
And he tries, he tries so hard.
Faggot. Whore.
“SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!” Charles ends up shouting at the end, and he feels bad for it seconds later as he feels Erik bolt up in surprise next to him looking down at him with a concerned expression. Charles is about to apologize as he realises something.
It’s quiet. Pure bliss silence and Charles groans in relief, his eyes immediately fluttering close in exhaustion. He can still feel Erik’s warm body curled back around him, the comforting arm around his waist and those lips barely brushing his cheek as he finally for once drifts into a deep silent sleep.
