Random Ramblings...

I've started writing a to-do list of all the stuff I want to get done around the apartment in the coming weeks. I started back at work yesterday, so I kind of wish I had the motivation while I was on vacation, but you know what they say about the best laid plans or whatever. I really need to repot my cacti before they go into winter hibernation mode. I will make a trip to either Farmer John's or Bordine's on Tuesday to pick up a sack of cacti soil mix and perhaps two large pots for the Haageocereus Chosicenisis and Organ Pipe Cactus. A couple others have been knocked over by the cat and I haven't gotten around to repotting or redoing the top dressing on them yet, and my burro's tail never really recovered from moving here, so I'm going to plant in in a smaller pot and hope for the best. I really missed having a patio this year, I missed my Boston ferns, the vegetable plants, and being able to grill when ever I want. Sure the Foreman is great, but what I wouldn't do for a large cooking surface. I also want to pick up some horticulture books on cacti and house plants. Hopefully if the weather cooperates on Tuesday, we'll be able to get my table and chairs from the storage unit and begin to assemble this place into a "home" again. So much cleaning to do, never enough time to do it. It's also time to get started on Christmas ornament making. I'm not sure Homer's going to cooperate with my painting or get in the way, so I may have to work on them locked in the bedroom or bathroom.

Man, my life is truly boring. *lol*
