I got my passport back from the Canadian Consulate in LA already with the Immigrant Visa! It just took them a little over a week!
I had already gotten my ticket changed for much later, since they'd told me to allow 3 weeks for processing, blah blah. If it's not too costly to change it back to an earlier date, I'll do that...but we'll see. Maybe for some time next week, if possible.
I feel so giddy!! I just have one more step left to become an official Landed Immigrant!
Oh yeah, and the shiny royal mounties embedded in the paper of the immigrant visa made me giggle for some reason ;)
