Iiinteresting...
Should kids be able to graduate after 10th grade? They're speaking of giving the alternative to students to either move on to tech school or junior college after their sophomore year, or if they want to pursue a higher level university then to keep on going through the rest of their 2 years of high school, which would prep them for such. Basically they want to see if this method would help prevent drop-outs.
I can see this strategy going both ways; but then, back in Venezuela it's not unusual to be done with high school by age 16. We* only take high school til our junior year, but we would then get a minimum of 5 years of college education, depending on the degree one would take. So I guess things even out in the end.
If they do implement it, I hope it works for the best.
* "We" is figurative, because I didn't personally have to go through that...I moved up to the U.S. right after my 9th grade

Another thought: should I post my artwork here? I feel like it'd be overkill, since I already post in Deviantart and participate in two blogs, but I'm thinking I may start posting stuff here if anyone out there's interested. Again, it's just a thought.
