Mmmmm....
So far it looks like we'll be rescheduling our meeting with the priest for the 15th *knock on wood.* I still have to call the priest to confirm that date with him, though (he gave me the option of the 8th or the 15th). I'd love it to be the 8th, but that's going to be "Weekend of Insanity" for me. Too much going on with the church daycare from Friday to Sunday, so it'd be hard for me to excuse myself from so many hours.
In the meantime, I got some lunch for my mom and myself, then drove to her office to eat there with her. So we kept each other company. Then I headed to the mall to look out for gift ideas for groomsmen/bridesmaids, but nothing really caught my eye. Then I headed over to Al's Formal Wear to look at through the 10 zillion binders they have of wedding invitations. They said if the groom/groomsmen/etc. register there, we'd get 40% off the purchase of invitations.
I spend a good hour flipping through pages that offered nothing I wanted: most were either too plain, or kinda cute but in the wrong colour (with no option of change), or just outright cheesy. By the time I'd had enough and said good-bye to the attendant, he told me "hey, you can look at those online too!" Well, I felt like an idiot. I should have tried that first! D'oh!
Finally on my way home I went by Hobby Lobby, where I bought myself a smaller sketctbook and 4 pewter charms: two of maple leaves and the other two of roses. I want to use them for the bridal garters I'd like to get done. :) I think it'd be nice to incorporate the idea of that painting I made of the leaf and rose a little while back (the one I have showing on the wedding website).
So goes my day so far...it's all right.
I don't know if I now I should go to work on Sunday morning or take the day to myself. And, you know, go to church on Sunday morning instead of Saturday night. Meh, who knows.
