Just found out from my mom that my grandma (Mom's mom) has leukemia, just like my uncle (Mom's older brother) does.
She's 84, so chemo/transplants/weird science is out of the question. So they'll just focus on giving her the best quality of life possible till there's nothing else to do.
I'm very sad with the news, but I also feel at peace, because I know she'll be OK...when the time comes, she'll be going Home and see my grandpa again. All I hope for is that she won't suffer too much as her illness gets worse.
