Just came back from grocery shopping...$60 later, I should be set (ick).
I'd like to get in the mood for cooking, even if it's simple stuff. I spend the majority of my day out at work, and when I get home I feel lazy and unimaginative when it comes to food preparation (well, I have very little creativity for that, period). That has got to change.
This week has been so weird...the 4th of July holiday kind of felt like a "weekend", and all of a sudden tomorrow's Friday! Heh.
Why is it that I find (well written) children's fiction much more interesting than (well written) adult fiction? (and by adult I mean "grown-up", of course). Not long ago I zipped through Roald Dahl's The Witches, and I loved it.
Edit: I just walked into my bathroom to find the floor completely soaked! I freaked out thinking I had some sort of bad leak somewhere, and I noticed the water was constantly flowing out of the toilet tank. I looked in and saw nothing abnormal, other than the water being at a higher level than it should be. I called my parents and I described the situation to my dad, and it turned out to be a problem with the floater (is that what it's called?). So my dad told me what to do step by step...I just had to readjust it a bit lower so the water flow would stop sooner rather than later, and that was it. I love my daddy. ^^
