(no subject)
So....I understand if no one does this/can do this/etc, but I figure if nothing else, this is one more place to get my link out, and maybe bandied about the internet to help me reach the goal that's been set for me.
I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I'm participating in the March of Dimes' Jail and Bail fundraiser this year. If you're unfamiliar with the concept, basically people get "turned in" for silly things like having a great smile or being too happy on Monday mornings, and if they accept, they're given the task of raising at least $1000US as "bail" and they have to show up for an hour of jail time that includes games and food and the like. So, the other morning, at work no less, I get a call from a fast talking gal and all of a sudden she's asking me if I want to help save babies, and of course I say yes, so here I am in this pickle of needing to raise $1000 by September 20th. It's crazy, I know. But a good cause.
I feel intensely lame asking for donations, but it seems I have no choice. Any amount is appreciated, and passing the link along to people you know is even more appreciated. Like I said, I understand if you can't or don't want to, or what have you...but I figured I'd ask, if nothing else, to pass along the link. Click here.
