i think i missed lj. its nice to have some where to just write. i used to keep an actual journal but i have no idea where it went. maybe ill go buy a new one and start it up again. something to think about.
i love winter so much. i love everything about it. the clean crisp smell, the white snow, the cold, the holidays. i know so many people who just hate everything about it. thats fine, you are entitled to your own opinion. theres just something about winter though that i think ill always love. people stress about the holidays so much and it really makes them bitter people-thats their own fault. no one said it had to be that way. its not all about the material aspect. you know jesus was born that day...well supposedly. im not really one to be all religious and its not why i love christmas, its just really nice to see the glittering lights and the music that for once sounds so happy and cheerful. i love snow, love love love it. like today a fresh coat of snow, i couldnt ask for anything more beautiful to wake up to. its covered everything and when the light hits it just right it sparkles. its like a fresh new start. and i think everyone can use a fresh new start every once in a while.
its great that we get to have off for so long, but i think that im ready to start classes again. i like being able to take classes that interest me. yeah sure we still have to do gen eds and such but even that i get to pick. my math class? i get to take another math class thats geared to elementary education majors. which is awesome because real math sucks...but then again math 130 was a pain...haha harder than everyone gives it credit for. heres to getting ready for class....
